BIRDS - DESCRIPTION

They eat almost anything including
fruits, nuts, earthworms, seeds, frogs,
eggs, mice etc.
Parrots have a heavy, compact body with a large head and a short neck. Their beaks are strong and curved. Many parrots are seen in green colour and some are multi-coloured. The most important components of most parrots' diets are seeds, fruits like nuts, buds and other plant material. A few species sometimes eat animals and carrion, while the lories and lorikeets are specialised for feeding on floral nectar and soft fruits. Almost all parrots nest in tree hollows, and lay white eggs.
